We suggest booking your accommodation well in advance – this sounds like an obvious piece of advice, but great listings get booked first, even more so if it’s high season and Napoli is a very popular destination nowadays. The further in advance you book, the better the options you’ll have.

TRANSPORT

The Congress Centre is at 15 min walking distance from the metro (line 2) station “Piazza Amedeo”, which is 3 stops away from the stop “Garibaldi (Central Railway Station). The Central Railway Station is also connected to the airport of Napoli Capodichino by a shuttle (ALIBUS). From Napoli Capodichino airport you can reach the Congress Centre also by TAXI (20-30 min ride, about 16 km).

How to get there:

From the airport

Alibus is the fast connecting bus line between Capodichino Airport, Napoli Port and the Central Railway Station in Piazza Garibaldi. The service is active every day.

The ticket costs €5 and you can buy it also on board.

Alibus, stop “Molo Angioino/ Beverello (Stazione Marittima)”, walk along Via Acton, then turn in Via Partenope

From Central Station “Garibaldi”

Metro line 2 towards Pozzuoli – “Amedeo” stop, walk down Via V. Colonna, then Via dei Mille, across Piazza della Vittoria and turn in Via Partenope
Metro line 1 towards Piscinola – “Toledo” stop, walk down Via Toledo, then Via Santa Lucia, and turn in Via Partenope

Taxi

Only use legitimate taxis. There are taxi stands at the airport, Piazza Garibaldi (Central Railway Station), Santa Lucia, Piazza S. Pasquale/Riviera di Chiaia (near the conference venue).

Users can request the receipt of the payment, which has no taxable value. Taxi drivers are not allowed to release receipts different from those authorized by the City Council. The receipt is mandatory for fixed tariff,
in this case the receipt and the fixed rate must be released before the ride.
